The role

About the Role

South Coast Home Physiotherapy is a private, home-visiting physiotherapy service, and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole are the natural next step along the coast. This is our first Dorset patch, and the physiotherapist who takes it on will help define it.

The caseload mirrors the rest of our work: older adults working on strength, balance and confidence, rehabilitation after surgery and hospital stays, long-term neurological conditions, and sessions in local care homes.

You choose your hours, anywhere from 4 up to 30 a week, while we build local demand together, backed by our booking, marketing and clinical framework, with full hour-long appointments throughout.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong background in community, elderly or neurological rehabilitation
  • Confidence managing your own caseload day to day
  • Based in or near Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole
  • Clinical quality matters more to us than a minimum year count

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in physiotherapy with HCPC registration and CSP membership
  • Full UK driving licence, your own car and business-use insurance
  • Enhanced DBS check (we arrange this with you)
  • The right to work in the UK without sponsorship, now or in the future

Questions About This Role

Self-employed. You invoice us at sessional rates and look after your own tax, National Insurance and professional indemnity insurance. We provide the referrals, the bookings and the clinical framework, and if you are unsure whether contracting suits you, we are happy to talk it through before you decide anything.

Anywhere from 4 to 30 hours a week, built around your availability, and growing as demand on the patch does. There is no minimum commitment while the caseload builds.

On a defined patch around Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. We plan each day as a sensible local round rather than a scatter of long drives, and we shape the patch around where you live.

Yes. Every appointment is a home or care home visit, so you need a full UK driving licence, your own car and insurance that covers business use.
