About the Role
Enquiries from Totton, the waterside and the Forest towns keep arriving, and none of our current physiotherapists live close enough to serve them well. We want someone local to take the patch on properly rather than covering it with long drives.
The caseload is classic community work: older adults rebuilding strength and balance after a fall, rehabilitation after hospital stays and joint replacements, long-term neurological conditions, and one-to-one and group sessions in local care homes.
You choose your hours, anywhere from 4 up to 30 a week, while the diary builds, backed by our booking, marketing and clinical framework, with full hour-long appointments and a say in how the patch grows.
What We're Looking For
- A strong background in community, elderly or neurological rehabilitation
- Confidence managing your own caseload day to day
- Based in or near the New Forest, so the travel economics work for you
- Clinical quality matters more to us than a minimum year count
Essential Requirements
- Degree in physiotherapy with HCPC registration and CSP membership
- Full UK driving licence, your own car and business-use insurance
- Enhanced DBS check (we arrange this with you)
- Professional indemnity insurance (standard for self-employed clinicians)
Where You Would Work
A sensible daily round within the Forest, shaped around where you live.
- Totton
- Hythe
- Lyndhurst
- Brockenhurst
- Lymington
- New Milton
- Ringwood
Questions About This Role
Self-employed. You invoice us at sessional rates and look after your own tax, National Insurance and professional indemnity insurance. We provide the referrals, the bookings and the clinical framework, and if you are unsure whether contracting suits you, we are happy to talk it through before you decide anything.
Anywhere from 4 to 30 hours a week, built around your availability, and growing as demand on the patch does. There is no minimum commitment while the caseload builds.
On a defined patch around New Forest and Totton. We plan each day as a sensible local round rather than a scatter of long drives, and we shape the patch around where you live.
Yes. Every appointment is a home or care home visit, so you need a full UK driving licence, your own car and insurance that covers business use.
