Charlie has been fantastic after my hip replacement, just can't recommend him enough. He was very patient with me while encouraging me with new exercises, and has really helped my confidence to move forward. I've made progress much quicker than I thought I would and that's all thanks to Charlie.

Neuro Physiotherapy in Salisbury
Specialist neurological physiotherapy in your own home across Salisbury, Wilton, Downton, Amesbury and the Chalke and Woodford valleys.
Specialist Neuro Physio at Home in Salisbury
Salisbury District Hospital is a regional centre for spinal cord injury, home to the Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre, and functional electrical stimulation (FES) for foot drop was pioneered here. When you come home, the work carries on, and home is where it matters most. Every visit is a full hour of one-to-one neurological physiotherapy in your own house.
We visit Salisbury and its villages every week, and see people living with the effects of a stroke, a spinal cord injury, Parkinson's, MS and brain injury. Public transport across the valleys is limited, so for many clients home visits are the only practical way to get regular therapy. You see the same physiotherapist at every visit.
Every clinician is HCPC registered and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. See our Salisbury page for everything else we offer locally, or our neurological physiotherapy page for how we work.

Whether you are coming home from the spinal centre or a stroke ward, we read your discharge plan and aim to start within days.
- Duke of Cornwall Spinal Treatment Centre. Home after spinal cord injury rehabilitation? We continue your programme at home: transfers, standing, walking where possible and keeping you strong, with your case manager kept updated.
- The stroke unit at Salisbury District Hospital. After a stroke, we aim to start within days of discharge and focus on the goals you set on the ward.
- FES and foot drop. If you use a functional electrical stimulation device for foot drop, we build walking practice around it in and around your home.
- Community teams in Wiltshire and Hampshire. Already seeing a community team? We can add sessions alongside them and carry on when their input ends.

Hear From Our Clients
Emily is a lovely, engaging, patient and knowledgeable physiotherapist. Her time with my husband during his acute stroke recovery phase has been invaluable. Emily researched and adapted her sessions and exercises to my husband's specific requests and needs. Thank you Emily :-)
I had my first appointment with Charlie last month after coming out of hospital with 5 vertebral fractures. Barely able to walk or do anything for myself. Now 7 weeks later I'm able to walk unaided and do everything to look after myself.
This year my long term orthopaedic conditions and my vestibular migraine have been particularly troublesome. But thanks to Charlie's professional guidance my mobility is greatly improved and I am feeling much more confident when out and about.
After being let down by the NHS I was delighted to find South Coast Home Physiotherapy and it was a real bonus that they come to the home. Emily is skilled, helpful, friendly and solutions focused, providing the 1-1 support my daughter needs.
Professional, reliable and caring. The support from Charlie, our physio, has been invaluable.
Cannot praise them enough! Comprehensive and professional treatment plans that inspire you.
Enormously helpful advice and encouragement. I couldn't recommend more highly.
